The Director of Programs is a key senior staff member reporting directly to the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation President/CEO, and is part of the Executive Management team working in alignment with the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO).
This role is responsible for strategically managing, creating and implementing all foundation programs, and leads the design, expansion and management of transformational program growth. Through the implementation of strategy and creative programmatic initiatives, the Director of Programs works to provide an essential voice and visibility to Native artists and culture bearers and the communities they work with. Primary activities involve grantmaking and planning, outreach and promotion, program management and the implementation of arts projects. These projects include collaborations among artists and culture-bearers, tribal and non-tribal governmental entities, communities, funders, and other organizations regionally and nationally.
