GIVING

YOUR GIFT EMPOWERS AMERICAN INDIAN, ALASKA NATIVE, AND NATIVE HAWAIIAN ARTISTS AND CULTURE BEARERS!

This year Native Arts and Cultures Foundation has been selected for Willamette Week’s Give!Guide. This is a special program in Portland for end-of-year giving. The campaign begins on November 1 and closes at midnight December 31.

Give!Guide is Willamette Week’s annual effort to raise funds for — and draw attention to — the good works of local nonprofits.

Give!Guide is a special opportunity for Native Arts and Cultures Foundation to receive matching funds for donations made during this period, thanks to Arnerich Massena and Vision Capital Management. Every dollar you donate up to $6,000 will be matched 1:1 due to their generosity.

Native artists, culture bearers, and organizations are the least likely demographic in the United States to receive the opportunities – such as funding, training, or media coverage – that strengthen their vision, amplify their creative work, and positively impact their communities. Despite the more than 5.6 million Native-identifying Americans living, creating, and perpetuating cultural practices today, we remain forgotten or excluded: Less than one-tenth of 1% of national charitable giving for arts and cultures reaches Native artists, culture bearers, and communities.
