Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists

NACF is pleased to partner with Dance/USA to share news of the following fellowship opportunity:

Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists (DFA) is a national program that supports individual dance artists, funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF). Direct support will be provided to artists who have substantial practice of working through dance to address social change within one or more communities. DFA will support artists who are creating work that is relevant to current times, and that tells the truths of peoples and issues in our communities and world today.

DFA supports individual artists with unrestricted fellowship awards. Dance/USA Fellowships to Artists will award a total of $1,000,000 to dance artists in about 30 fellowships of around $33,000 each.

Program guidelines and applications will be announced by mid-October 2021. For more information, visit https://danceusa.org/danceusa-fellowships-to-artists. If you have any questions, please reach out to Haowen Wang, Director of Regranting at Dance/USA, at hwang@danceusa.org.
