Oklahoma Native Artists and Tribal Arts & Cultural Organizations Invited to Learn about NEA Opportunities

In partnership with the Chickasaw Nation, the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation is coordinating a free workshop by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for Native American / Tribal artists, arts organizations and non-profits, and the community. Please join us to learn about available opportunities!

Tuesday, November 1: Riverwind Hotel, Norman, Oklahoma. Registration begins at 4:45 pm in the Showplace Lobby. Hors d’oeuvres served in the Showplace Balcony from 4:45 – 5:30 pm. Workshop begins at 5:30 pm in the Governor’s Room, 2nd floor of Showplace Theatre. Please anticipate one and a half to two hours for workshop + Q&A. Seating is limited so please RSVP; see below.

Wednesday, November 2: Chickasaw Cultural Center, Sulphur, Oklahoma. Registration begins at 4:45 pm in the Aaittafama Lobby. Hors d’oevres served in the Aaittafama Room. Event begins at 5:30 pm in the Aaittafama Room. Please anticipate at least an hour and a half to two hours for workshop + Q&A. Seating is limited so please RSVP; see below.

This free workshop will introduce attendees to the NEA’s federal grant application system, and answer questions about the funds available to Indian Country artists and arts organizations. Please bring your questions for a facilitated discussion.
