Yéigo Action Grant
Deadline: The 10th of every month
The Yéigo Action Grant offers funding ranging from $100 to $5,000 to individual Native artists and culture bearers. At First Peoples Fund (FPF), we understand the significance of supporting artists through tough times, especially when unexpected hardships arise. The grant’s name, inspired by the Diné word “yéigo,” is a phrase of encouragement meaning “keep going” or “don’t give up.”

True/ False Film Fest Artist Residency Program
Deadline: September 1, 2024
True/False is seeking original large-scale installations, projections, and performance works that have the flexibility to be modified to function in a variety of locations and unconventional venues within the theme “The Human Paradox.” Aimed at emerging and mid-career artists, this five-week virtual residency will culminate in an in-person exhibition of work at the 2024 True/False Film Festival. True/False is looking for emerging and mid-career artists and encourages applications from artists who may identify as underrepresented in the traditional art world (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and parents/caregivers).
Center for Cultural Innovation – Investing in Artists
Deadline: September 4, 2024
The Investing in Artists: Tools & Equipment program (the “T&E Fund”) will award grants of $1,000–$5,000 to individual craft artists to purchase artistic tools, materials, or equipment that support their ability to make object-based work. The T&E Fund is open to individual craft artists, craftspeople, and folk and traditional artists in the United States and its Territories, with geographic eligibility rotating over the 2024–2026 funding cycle.
Adam Kolton Alaska Storytelling Grant Award
Deadline: September 5, 2024
The Storytelling Grant is a merit-based, unrestricted award of $20,000 to a practicing professional storyteller of exceptional talent and ability who has experience living in Alaska and who tells a uniquely Alaskan story.
MacDowell Residency
Deadline: September 10, 2024
This spring and summer residency offers a studio, accommodations, and three meals a day for up to six weeks. There are no residency fees, and financial assistance is offered to reimburse the costs of travel, rent, lost income, and childcare. The residency is open to artists of all backgrounds and all countries in the following disciplines: architecture, film/video arts, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theater, and visual arts.
Princeton Arts Fellowship
Deadline: September 10, 2024
This fellowship is awarded to artists whose achievements have been recognized as demonstrating extraordinary promise in any area of artistic practice and teaching. Applicants should be early career visual artists, filmmakers, poets, novelists, playwrights, designers, directors and performance artists who would find it beneficial to spend two years teaching and working in an artistically vibrant university community. A $90,000 a year stipend is provided. The current application cycle is open to applicants in Writing, Theater, and Visual Arts.
Hambidge Center Residency
Deadline: September 15, 2024
In the mountains of north Georgia, each resident is given their own private studio which provides work and living space with a bathroom and full kitchen. Residencies span from two to eight weeks. Disciplines include: Arts & Culture Administration, Ceramics, Culinary Arts, Dance, Music, Science, Visual Arts, Writing, and Multidisciplinary practices. $30 fee to apply.
Native Performing Arts Production Grants
Deadline: September 23, 2024
The Native Performing Arts Production Grant (NPAP) supports Native-led performing arts productions that include multiple Native performers and artists. “Production” means the artist(s) are actively engaged in creating a live piece of work, either in person or virtual.
McColl Center Summer 2025 Parent + Educator Artists-in-Residence
Deadline: September 25, 2024
This residency is offered to parents and educators who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate in McColl Center residency because of their responsibilities during school/university periods. This residency will support their practices, give you the chance to bring your family with you, use the facilities, and equipment offered by the Center on our Labs. Residents enjoy private housing, a large-scale studio, guidance, marketing support, and a stipend. Access to shared labs: 3D, ceramics, media, and woodshop. The program runs from June 3 – August 11, 2025.
Hayama Artist Residency, Japan
Deadline: September 30, 2024
The residency offers a roundtrip flight to Japan, shared accommodations with one other artist-in-residence for 4 weeks, and a weekly allotment of $200 USD for meals and local transportation. Residency also includes an exhibition in Tokyo. Open to visual artists over 21 years old, working in any medium. $95 Application fee. Residency dates: June 1-30, 2025.

The 3nd annual NW Native Fashion Show features emerging Native Designers and Creatives from all over the Pacific Northwest at the Redd East Event Center in Portland OR on October 17th.
Tompkins Co. Public Sculpture
Deadline: October 18, 2024
Ithaca, NY – The Community Arts Partnership is working with the Enfield community to design and commission a sculpture that will live in front of the highway barns on Enfield Main Road.
