Today we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of helping others. This is at the core of our work here at Native Arts and Cultures Foundation. Our programs aim to embolden Native artists to nurture their brilliance, and uplift the innovative spirit in our Native communities. NACF understands that the work of Native artists is critical to the greater contemporary arts discourse, the stewardship of our planet, and equity in our greater society.

We encourage you to read “Why We Can’t Wait,” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1964 book about the nonviolent movement against racial segregation in the United States, and specifically the 1963 Birmingham campaign. In his book, Dr. King describes real and tangible strategies for nonviolent resistance that are still relevant today.

The Associate Director of Development will provide strategic leadership, project management, and administrative oversight to NACF’s overall fundraising efforts. They will partner with the Director of Development in growing and sustaining NACF’s fundraising program and working collaboratively to manage and build out the individual giving program.
