COMMUNITY INSPIRATION PROGRAM

CELEBRATING THE POWER OF COMMUNITY

Community Inspiration Program projects are artist-driven and designed to connect Native and non-Native people in community conversations that address pressing social, cultural, and environmental concerns to create positive change.

Through the Community Inspiration Program, the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation enables artists and communities to inspire shared hopes and arts-based experiences to drive vital conversations.

In addition to funding select collaborations, the foundation assists the artists in strategic planning, including developing evaluation and documentation systems, and other assistance to help their projects engage participants to reach relevant outcomes.

The Community Inspiration Program is supported by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation.

Hawaii Poet Laureate Kealoha (Native Hawaiian) was selected by the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation to lead a Community Inspiration Program demo pilot project.
